So here it is, the best songs so far of 2015. Of course, this is just based off my opinion and is completely up for you to decide whether or not you like it. Also, I only picked one song by each artist so there's lots of great songs that went by the wayside.
Anyway, this is mixture of indie rock, punk, hiphop, folk, ska and reggae; and I believe most of you will find something that you like in here. There's 150 artists and over 8 hours of music which I separated into 6 different files to make it easier to download. I'm also including a Spotify playlist that has most of the songs in it (it's missing 23 of them), but the downloads will get you all of them.
Below I'm also including a list of the all the songs and artists (and occasional side-notes) with an asterisk if that song is only available via download.
Without any further ado, here it is, I hope you find some gems!

The Spotify Playlist
* = Songs only Available via download
*1. The Vandals - I'm an Individual: My all-time favorite band, this is the first song they've released since 2004 and it's a cover song. Oh well, beggars can't be choosers and it's a fun song anyway.
2. Hop Along - Texas Funeral: Frances has the best female voice in music right now, this song starts off a bit subpar, but gets amazing as it continues on.
3. The Vaccines - Handsome: I can't get enough of this song, every time I hear it I have to be careful to not dance around weird-like. Plus, the premise of this song is ridiculous. The rest of the album is okay, but this is definitely a standout track.
4. Jeff Rosenstock - Nausea: The video to this song is great and the album it comes from is great too.
5. The Front Bottoms - Handcuffs: This is coming off a split 7" with GDP, but they plan to release a full-length sometime later this year.
6. Of Montreal - Empyrean Abattoir: It took me forever to finally get around to really listening to this band, but I'm glad I finally did.
7. Jedi Mind Tricks - And God Said To Cain (Feat. A-F-R-O, R.A., The Rugged Man & Eamon): I love this song, it's fun hiphop and I wish there was more of this out there.
8. Screaming Females - Burning Car: If you only decide to buy one album this year, by Rose Mountain from this band. Every song is pure gold.
9. toyGuitar - Is It True?: Jack Dalyrmple's newest band. Hooks a'plenty. Jack can do no wrong. Rumor has it that he'll be returning to Dead To Me for their new album later this year
10. Violent Femmes - Happy New Year Next Year: First new music from the Femmes in 15 years. Glad to hear them again.
*11. Waters - Got To My Head: I thought for a long time they were singing "maybe a gun to my head". I kinda like that better. Nonetheless, a nice little groove dancer.
12. Titus Andronicus - Fatal Flaw: From the rock opera known as The Most Lamentable Tragedy. If you get a chance, sit down and listen to the whole thing. Patrick Stickles is a mad genius.
13. Jack White - Blue Light, Red Light (Someone's There): Cover of Harry Connick Jr. I like Jack White a lot now apparently. Weird.
14. Cayucas - Moony Eyed Walrus: The EP this comes off is a really nice summer listen.
15. Doomtree - Beastface: One of the only hiphop super groups that matter.
16. Strung Out - The Animal and The Machine: 6 years, the longest they've had between albums. This album finds them a bit aggressive than usual.
17. Pale Honey - Lonesome: A couple of Swedes making rock music. That's what this. How does Sweden create so many great artists? NSA? Check this out.
18. Modest Mouse - The Ground Walks, With Time in a Box: The Portland brew is back with a new album after a longer wait than normal. Glossier than older stuff, but still good.
19. Sleater Kinney - A New Wave: They're back and (I) think they're better than ever.
20. Cosmo Sheldrake - Tardigrade Song: Trippy, but not hippy. I dig it
21. mewithoutyou - D-Minor: The band really reminds me of Manchester Orchestra. They've been around for awhile, but only recently got into. A lot of religion questioning in this song so... I dig it.
22. The Interrupters - Babylon: There isn't many ska-punk bands I enjoy anymore so this is one of the few new bands in recent memory to pull it off. Think The Distillers meets Operation Ivy.
23. Refused - Elektra: 18 years since their last release! Wow! Music critics will probably hate it, but music fans should love it.
*24. Ezra Furman - Pot Holes: San Francisco rock n' roll.
25. Oscar - Forget Me Not: This song sounds so innocent! Like being at a kid's bday party.
26. Millencolin - True Brew: Another comeback album (7 years). Far better than their last album.
27. I'm From Barcelona - Benjamin: Despite what their name says, this is another Swedish band who writes some light-hearted rock music.
28. Belle and Sebastian - Allie: It's Belle and Sebastion. It's good, but you probably already know this. If you don't than go watch an indie flick.
29. Ceschi - This Won't Last Forever: Another hiphop song! He's right though, this song doesn't last forever, but it's a great time as it goes.
30. Sorority Noise - Mononokay: I've really fallen in love with this album. So earnest and angsty.
31. The Tallest Man On Earth - Beginners: I still can't believe this guy is also Swedish. Justy once said he kinda sounds like Bob Dylan. He kinda does.
32. The Mountain Goats - Choked Out: A concept album album about amateur wrestling. Sure John Darnielle. Sure. It's actually quite good though.
33. Desaparecidos - Search the Searches: What can't Connor Oberst do? This is from a great political punk album.
34. Matt and Kim - Hey Now: The rest of this album is so-so, but this song is a good engergizer.
35. Brand New - Mene: First song released in 6 years. I think it's fantastic. They're trying to put out a release sometime later this year. Let's hope it sounds like this.
36. Angelic Milk - IDK Now: This band is from St. Petersburg Russia. I live near there. Geography is neat.
37. Unknown Mortal Orchestra - Ur Life One Night: Even though this is a Portland band, I found out about them through a French friend.
38. Muse - Psycho: Have I lost some cool cred by adding a Muse song? Probably.
39. Chuck Ragan - Vagabond (Feat. Ben Nichols, Jon Snodgrass and Chad Price): This was redone from last year's Chuck Ragan album. I like this version more.
40. Raury - Devil's Whisper: The ending really sells this song for me.
41. Turbowolf - Nine Lives: Reminds me kinda of Wolfmother.
42. Red City Radio - Watcha Got?: This is a great song. I wish the rest of the album would've been this good.
43. The Wave Pictures - I Could Hear the Telephone (3 Floors Above Me): I don't remember where I stumbled upon this band, but it has a very interested lo-key rough sound to it that I dig.
44. Transit - Monster See Monster Do (Feat. Sims)
45. Diamond Youth - Far Away From Earth
46. Jaill - Getaway
47. Big D and The Kids Table - Old Friend: Rancid cover

*52. Thee Oh Sees - Turned Out Light
53. Wild Pink - Is This Hotel Haunted: One of my favorite songs on the playlist. Really great lyrics that work through their simplicity.

60. Pet Symmetry - Give Thanks (Get Lost)
61. Dave Monks - Gasoline
